Ebony Fortunatow (née Heidenreich) is an Adelaide-based ceramic artist whose work reflects a deep appreciation for materiality, texture and the quiet presence of handmade objects.

Trained at Jam Factory, her work has been collected by the National Gallery of Victoria, the Shepparton Art Museum, and exhibited nationally.

Working from her studio in Stepney Norwood, Ebony draws inspiration from architecture, natural materials and the forms and colours found in nature. She creates objects with the spaces we inhabit in mind.

Honouring the value of well-made products and the beauty of thoughtful design, she explores how form and material can shape how we experience a space, offering work that feels grounded, refined and quietly expressive.
